Day 1 Fly to San Jose, at arrival, transfer to Hotel.          

Day 2  Arenal -Tabacon Hot Springs     
     This unforgettable full day tour will show you the imposing Arenal Volcano as well as the stunning scenery of the surrounding area.

Just three hours from San Jose is the mighty Arenal Volcano. It's been active since 1969 and is one of Costa Rica's most interesting sites. Located in the planes of San Carlos, which is a tropical region where tranquil, refreshing scenery reign. This is a great alternative for beginning your trip to the volcano. You will enjoy beautiful scenery, picturesque agricultural towns, great views of dairy farms and coffee plantations. This will be the perfect complement for your trip. This volcano deserves a visit, not only for its daily activity but also its perfect cone. If the climate allows, you will see the majestic volcano, admiring its explosions of ash and lava, illuminating the view with its multicolor games. This tour also includes a visit to the thermal hot springs that are surrounded by exquisite gardens. Day 4 Tortuguero
 An early morning departure will have you travelling through one of Costa Ricas most scenic parks, Braulio Carrillo, then continue the journey and head towards the lowlands of the province of Limon, passing through banana plantations. A boat will be waiting for you to take you into the heart of Tortuguero National Park. The comfortable lodge will be your base of discovery for the next few days.All meals are included.

Day 5 Tortuguero
 Today your naturalist tour guide will to take you to explore the intricate system of natural canals and waterways in this lush rain forest region, as well as walk through the trails of the park and visit the little village of Tortuguero. All meals are included.

 Day 6   Tortuguero to San Jose  overnite San Jose.     This morning, wake up early to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Costa Ricas own "Amazon" - like area, then head back to San Jose, first by boat, and then the journey back on to land. Breakfast and lunch are included.     Includes lodging at the Hotel Pachira Lodge or selected hotel, a boat tour through the Canals at Tortuguero National Park, a visit to Tortuguero Village, all meals, ground and boat transfers from and to San Jose, a naturalist guide.

Day 7 COFFEE TOUR -
4 HOURS - Imagine following the journey of a coffee bean from the plantation - to the processing plant to a cup of gourmet coffee.

Day 8 Transfer to the airport to catch the plane back home
